Sad to hear of the passing last Tuesday of Elma Eastwood the widow of the late John, who many will remember had the chemist’s shop in Torrisholme for many years.
Elma and John were long time supporters of the 16th Morecambe. John was an excellent Group Treasurer for a lot of years, not only keeping the books in perfect order, but with Elma raising valuable funds for the Group through their legendary garage sales at their home.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Gillian and Keith and their families at this sad time.
Elma’s funeral service will take place at the Church of the Ascension on Thursday 24 January at 11.45.
